The main concept of the Hello Tomorrow Turkey Challenge, which we held in Novotel Karaköy on January 13, 2020, was to introduce the most successful startups selected from Turkey for the Hello Tomorrow Global Challenge to the ecosystem and as well as to bring together the leaders who pioneered groundbreaking innovations in the field of deep tech with our ecosystem.
Based on this concept and goal, Dr Anita Sengupta, former NASA JPL (Jet Propulsion Laboratory) lead engineer and founder of ASX (Airspace Experience Technologies) took part in our event with her speech on “The Future of Flight”. At the same time, we hosted the CEO of Turkey’s leading companies in our panel on “The Future of Technology Entrepreneurship in Turkey”. Arkın Çelik, who gave inspirational speech on “How deep tech will become a reality for you?”and hosted the event, was with us at our event where we were beaming into the future.
On 27 November 2019, we held an event with the ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Istanbul / The Austrian Trade Commission Istanbul and the Austrian Angel Investors Association. 10 Austrian angel investors, including angel investors who have made 9 exits, came to Istanbul at our invitation to explore the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Turkey. In addition, iyzico Co-Founder Barbaros Özbuğutu gave some advice by telling the success story of his initiative. It was very proud of us to be part of such an organization.
As Hello Tomorrow Turkey, we continue to create opportunities for entrepreneurs who want to take part in the international arena. Our goal is to create to make a difference in the deep tech ecosystem of Turkey and to prove that deep tech initiatives are making efforts for success.

Four panels were carried out within the scope of “Women Leaders in Clean Energy, Science and Technology Conference” organized on October 22nd in collaboration with Sabanci University Istanbul International Energy and Climate Center (IICEC) and Sabanci University Corporate Governance Forum (CGFT). The panels, which featured leading figures from Turkey and the worldwide as speakers, included successful strategies and experience of women leaders focused on clean energy, science and technology. In our event attended by important figures such as Guler Sabanci, Melanie Kenderdine, Martha Broad, Netra Gowda, Bel Pesce, it was spoken about the importance of women participation in the workforce at clean energy, science and technology.
Hello Tomorrow’s “International Deep Tech Competition” Hello Tomorrow Global Challenge, an initiative established by science & technology entrepreneurs for science and technology entrepreneurs, is being held in Paris for the 6th time this year.
Applications will be accepted until September 13, 2019 for the special contest of the world’s biggest deep tech entrepreneurship summit which will be held on March 12 – 13, 2020. Hello Tomorrow Turkey Finals, the Turkey leg of Hello Tomorrow’s 5th International Deep Tech (Science and Technology) Competition, was held on Tuesday, December 11th at Zorlu PSM. At the event organized with the main sponsorship support of TEB BNP Paribas, 12 of Turkey’s best science and technology-based startups selected among 4500 applications from 119 countries competed for the first place in their category.
